My legal career began upon obtaining my law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, after which I spent the next seven years working for firms in the United States and Ecuador. 

 

In 2014, I founded Rangel Legal, a U.S. immigration firm with offices in Quito, Ecuador and Chicago, Illinois.  

 

My own experiences, both as an immigrant and a lawyer, living the USA and abroad, give me unique perspective and insight that allows me to help my clients understand the differences between legal systems and cultures.

 

My law practice focuses on family-based petitions, resolving complicated visa problems, consular processing, overcoming visa rejections, securing waivers of inadmissibility, investment visa options, and obtaining citizenship for children and grandchildren of US citizens. I often prepare clients for interviews before officers of the Department of State (DOS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).

 

I love being an immigration lawyer, advising and emotionally supporting my clients and their families through difficult legal situations. I take my work very seriously because I understand that positive results are extremely important to my clients’ personal goals, professional goals and overall well-being.
